Kathmandu. Jagdamba Motors, the authorized distributor of Proton vehicles in Nepal, has officially launched the all-new Proton e.MAS 5 at a grand ceremony held at The Soaltee Kathmandu. As Proton’s second electric vehicle (EV) in Nepal, the e.MAS 5 further strengthens the brand’s growing electric mobility portfolio, offering Nepali customers a stylish, compact electric SUV designed for modern urban lifestyles and everyday practicality.
The Proton e.MAS 5 has already earned international recognition, having been awarded “Electric Compact Vehicle of the Year 2026” at Malaysia’s prestigious Allianz DSF Vehicle of the Year Awards. Combining advanced technology with intelligent design, the e.MAS 5 features a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, 32 thoughtfully designed storage compartments, including a 70-litre front trunk (frunk), and an expandable 375-litre rear luggage compartment, making it an ideal companion for both city commutes and long-distance travel.
