Kathmandu . Electric vehicle enthusiasts may soon have more reasons to get excited, as early reports indicate that two new Bajaj Chetak models could be making their way to Nepal.
The upcoming Chetak C2501 is expected to be the more affordable variant, featuring a 2.5 kWh battery, a 113 km IDC range, a top speed of 60 km/h, and a 4-hour charging time.
Meanwhile, the Chetak C3503 is anticipated to be the premium offering, equipped with a 3.5 kWh battery that delivers up to 153 km of IDC range, along with a digital display and a host of smart features.
While Bajaj Nepal has yet to make an official announcement, more details, including pricing and launch timelines for the Nepali market, are expected to be revealed soon. Since NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 is approaching in Aug, these 2 new models are expected to be launched in the auto show itself.
