Bhupendra Khanal becomes the first entrepreneur from Nepal to grace the Cannes Red Carpet

France .The iconic red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival, a stage known for celebrity glamour, stunning fashion and powerful statements, witnessed a proud moment for Nepal this year.

Nepali entrepreneur Bhupendra Khanal from Uralabari, Morang, together with his wife Sneh Khanal, made a striking appearance at the prestigious 2026 Cannes Film Festival red carpet. The couple, founders of Dogsee Chew, an international premium dog treat brand headquartered in Bengaluru, India used this global platform to highlight the importance of pet care and wellness.

Bhupendra, a prominent Indian entrepreneur of Nepali origin and founder of the well-known social media analytics company Simplify360, along with his wife Sneh, showcased a perfect blend of Nepali and Indian cultural elements in their attire, highlighted by elegant embroidery featuring their dog Mowgli, a golden retriever, who inspired the couple to start Dogsee Chew.
