Kathmandu, Nepal . Škoda Nepal today launched the facelifted Škoda Kushaq at the Škoda Showroom, under the tagline “Real Drivers Wanted.” The event brought together company leadership, business partners, media, and invited guests for the unveiling of the new Skoda Kushaq.
The car was unveiled by Mr. Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, Chairman of MAW Group, along with Mr. Raunak Agarwal, CEO of MAW Expanze. Their message was direct: other drivers own a car, Real Drivers own the road. The Kushaq is not positioned to win a comparison chart. It is built for those who judge a car by what it delivers behind the wheel.
That philosophy runs through Kushaq’s engineering. The TSI engine, available in 1.0L and 1.5L options, is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and DSG transmission, delivering the kind of control and response that defines genuine driving pleasure. Inside, the rear seat massage feature brings a European standard of comfort rarely found in this segment, a reminder that the Kushaq is engineered first, then finished with comfort in mind.
What sets the Kushaq apart in Nepal is not just what it offers, but what it costs to own. An international badge, built on European engineering legacy, now starts from NPR 57.90 Lakhs, a price that puts world-class driving within reach rather than out of it. Ownership is made simpler still through the Promise of 12, an annual maintenance plan available across all 12 locations nationwide, with no hidden charges and a fixed cost of Rs. 12,000, once every 12 months or 12,000 km.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Vishnu Agarwal said, “The Kushaq brings European engineering to Nepal’s roads without asking Nepali drivers to pay a European price. That is what real value looks like.”
Mr. Raunak Agarwal added, “This is a car built for people who already know what they want from driving. We are inviting them to experience it, not just hear about it.”
With this launch, Škoda Nepal reinforces the Kushaq’s place as the clearest expression of what it means to be a driver’s SUV in Nepal, merging performance, heritage, and uncompromising value .
