Kathmandu. Sanima Bank, in collaboration with Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL), has launched a real-time India–Nepal Person-to-Person (P2P) payment service, enabling secure, instant, and low-cost fund transfers between the two countries.
With this service, users in India and Nepal can transfer money using Virtual Payment Addresses (VPAs) and UPI IDs without sharing bank account details. Nepalese users can receive funds through VPAs, while Indian users can send or receive funds using UPI IDs—making cross-border payments simpler, safer, and more convenient.
This facility enhances digital connectivity for students, professionals, travelers, and families who rely on India–Nepal transactions, offering a modern alternative to traditional remittance channels.
Sanima Bank provides banking services through 134 branches and 127 ATMs across all seven provinces and remains committed to expanding secure and innovative digital solutions.
