Kathmandu . Coca-Cola has launched ‘Locally Yours’, a campaign celebrating local communities and businesses who have remained at the heart of Nepal for generations.
Before most neighbourhoods wake up, somebody already has their shutters open. Somebody who knows people by name, remembers your usual order, stays open daily, and quietly becomes a part of everyday life.
Through a series of videos, the campaign shines a light on these entrepreneurs and local retailers and the role they continue to play in their communities. While these are familiar faces people see every day, ‘Locally Yours’ goes beyond the counter to share their personal stories, journeys, and experiences.
The campaign also reflects the long-standing relationship between Coca-Cola in Nepal and the entrepreneurs who have helped create local businesses, support livelihoods, and make the brand part of shared moments across the country for decades.
Speaking about the campaign, Chandrika Kalia, Country Director of Coca-Cola Nepal shared, “Local businesses are the backbone of communities across Nepal. With ‘Locally Yours,’ we wanted to go beyond the product and celebrate the people who have made Coca-Cola a part of everyday Nepali life for over 50 years.”
Similarly, Mr. Ajay Konale, Managing Director of Bottlers Nepal Limited, said, “Neighborhood retailers are the backbone of our business and trusted pillars of their communities. Through their resilience, relationships, and entrepreneurial spirit, they continue to create everyday connections that make Coca-Cola part of shared moments across Nepal. ‘Locally Yours’ is a celebration of their stories, their impact, and the role they play in keeping communities and local economies thriving every day.”
They also share how Coca-Cola has become part of their everyday habits, food culture, and gatherings. One of the featured retailers in the campaign, Alok Konzan, owner of Dallé restaurant, reflects on the brand’s presence throughout his journey, saying, “Coke has been part of Dallé from the very beginning. I think it’s the finishing touch.”
Similarly, Pasang Sherpa from Sherpa Juice Centre says, “Coca-Cola is everywhere in the market. It’s part of the culture now. People follow the trend of having Coca-Cola. There is a strong demand.”
The campaign aims to celebrate the stories of resilience, innovation, and community pride behind local communities’ businesses. Because behind many everyday moments in Nepal is a local business which makes them possible.
